Join L.I.F.E. at Gilbert Parks & Recreation's second annual Adaptive Resource Fair! 🎉 They're bringing together local organizations, support services, social groups, and vendors to one inclusive space. This is a great chance to connect, discover resources, and meet others in the community. The free event will feature:

- A diverse selection of community vendors (including L.I.F.E.!)
- A sensory-friendly room
- A craft room
- Firetruck Display by the Gilbert Fire Department
- Indoor, air‑conditioned comfort (no Arizona summer heat!)

Our friends in Pathways had a great first week back in school! They did well settling in to their new schedule and routines, getting to know our new learners, and helping them feel welcome. In partnership with Preston's Pursuit for Acceptance, we wanted to share the news of the recently passed ARS 28-459, Communication Accommodation. Similar to the Blue Envelope program, this accommodation is a voluntary, confidential alert that lets law enforcement know someone in the vehicle may communicate differently. It helps support safer, calmer interactions for autistic and disabled individuals with first responders.
