Reminder: Our annual Casino Gala on Saturday, November 14th, is one of our most important fundraisers of the year. Lions, we need your help with donations for our silent auction! This year, we are creating themed baskets, and you can contribute items such as:
🧩Game Night: Board games, snacks, or family fun tickets
🍿Movie Night: Movie tickets, restaurant gift cards, DVDs, popcorn, or cozy blankets
🕯 Mom Self-Care: Massage, facial, or salon gift certificates, bath bombs, lotions, or candles
🍽 Date Night: Restaurant gift cards, a bottle of w**e, or event tickets
☕ Coffee Lover: Specialty coffees, mugs, or coffee shop gift cards
To make donating easier, we have also created an Amazon Wishlist (amzn.to/4ydOViY) where you can shop directly and have items shipped straight to us. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and other fun items are always welcome. Donations can be dropped off at the front desk through October 31st. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor or attending the event, please visit: www.laurensaz.org.

Last week during science, Ms. Marina's class used their senses to taste, touch, and smell an apple! Learners also discussed the different parts of an apple and investigated the seeds and skin. Afterwards, they practiced cutting apples with different tools and cut the apples in half, dipped them in paint and pressed onto paper! 🍎

Thank you to Logan, Gavin, Jude, and Max from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Stratland Ward, for your generous donation of two benches to our campus! These benches were made as a service project, and we truly appreciate that they gifted them to us. While here, they took a tour of our campus, learned more about what we do at L.I.F.E., and may have taken a moment to play on the playground (can you blame them? It's an awesome playground!). These beautiful benches will now be a part of our campus for many years to come. Thank you again! 🩵🧡
