You spent 3 nights in the hospital.

Medicare may still say “no” to your rehab stay.

When you’re in the hospital, you may be classified as either “inpatient” or “observation.”

If the hospital bills you as observation, those days may NOT count toward Medicare’s 3-day inpatient requirement for skilled nursing facility coverage.

No qualifying stay can mean no Medicare skilled nursing coverage.

That could leave you with thousands of dollars in rehab bills.

And here’s the kicker:
