The Legacy Living & Rehabilitation Center joins our community in remembering and honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Gerald L. Baker, Sr.

For more than three decades, Dr. Baker was part of the story of healthcare in Gillette. His arrival in 1979 marked an important moment for our growing community, and his years of service helped shape the orthopedic care available to generations of Campbell County residents.

A legacy in healthcare is measured in more than years or milestones. It is found in the people cared for, the families supported, the colleagues mentored, and the difference one person makes in a community.

Dr. Baker’s contributions are woven into the history of healthcare in Gillette, and his impact will continue through the care and services that grew from the foundation he helped establish.

We are grateful for the life he shared with our community and for the lasting difference he made.

Our thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew him.
