Jonathan Musk was chosen by staff and residents to be our February 2026 Employee of the Month. Jonathan has a special role here at Gilman Healthcare Center. He is our CrossRoads Director.
Crossroads is a program at our home that provides specialized assistance, communication, and programming for those
with developmental disabilities.
“Before this role, I worked supporting youth in a behavioral health setting. That experience helped me build strong skills in communication, structure, and working with individuals who need consistent support.” He’s been in his current position for more than a year.
“I accepted this position to continue growing in my field and to keep doing work that supports others in a meaningful way.”
Jonathan spends a lot of 1:1 time with residents with special needs, and in doing so, he builds relationships with their families and caregivers. “What I enjoy most is building relationships with residents and helping create a positive, engaging environment for them day-to-day.
It’s rewarding to see them feel comfortable, involved, and supported.”Jonathan has poured himself into the job and, as a result, it’s been noticed by staff and residents.
“Being chosen as employee of the month - especially by the residents - means a lot. I think it reflects the connections I’ve built and the effort I put into being consistent, supportive, and present in my role.”
