Employee Spotlight: Meet Krissy! 🌟
We are thrilled to announce that Krissy has been named our Gilman Healthcare Center Employee of the Month for May 2026!
Since recently joining us, Krissy has already made a remarkable impact on our facility, staff, and residents. In fact, she is the first team member to receive this honor after only one month on the job!
Tasked with supervising our housekeeping and laundry departments, Krissy has brought her natural leadership and experience to the role, quickly earning the respect of her team. But it’s her spirit that truly sets her apart. Colleagues and residents describe her as "infectiously positive," "all smiles," and an "excellent, hard worker" who always makes time for others, no matter how busy her schedule.
Krissy’s passion for healthcare began when she was young, inspired by the love she had for her grandmother. "I want to make people feel seen; I want people to smile," she says. "I want people to have the best day every day. I come in with a smile, and I leave with a smile."
While she may be behind the scenes in housekeeping and laundry, she is dedicated to making a positive difference in as many lives as she can every single day. "The residents have taught me to realize every day is important and to be as positive as I can."
