Louise Regional Hospital, part of Santa Clara Valley Healthcare, offers South County residents a family-centered birth center with private patient rooms and expert care for emergencies, stroke, and wounds as well as other healthcare services. Since 1989, Saint Louise Regional Hospital, a 93-bed acute care facility, has been providing south Santa Clara County and north San Benito County with distin

ct programs and services. SLRH provides minimally invasive surgical procedures; maternal and child health services; and wound care including two hyperbaric oxygen chambers on site. Our Breast Care Center provides mammography and advanced methods of cancer detection, along with bone density screening and a reference library. March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and our digestive health team encourages people to take advantage of early screenings and healthy lifestyle changes to reduce risk. Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer and is treatable when discovered early yet it is now the leading cause of cancer-related death among men and women under age 50.
