Courtyard Estates is a senior living community that bridges the gap between independent living and nursing home care. Assisted living is an alternative level of quality housing appropriate for many seniors who choose not to live alone. At Courtyard Estates, we will create a service plan for each tenant upon admission. The service plan is updated regularly to ensure that the tenant receives appropriate care as his or her condition changes.

✨ Giving the Gift of Independence ✨

We had the pleasure of welcoming "Peggy Dyson from the Educational Center for the Visually Impaired", who presented an informative program titled “Giving the Gift of Independence.” 👓💙

Peggy shared how today’s technology can make such a positive impact in the lives of individuals who are visually impaired by helping promote greater independence, confidence, connection, and quality of life.🫶

Our residents enjoyed learning about the many tools and resources available and hearing how technology continues to open new doors for those with visual impairments. 📱✨

A big thank you to Peggy for spending time with us and sharing such valuable information! We always love opportunities to learn, grow, and discover new ways to support independence at every stage of life. ❤️

This afternoon, we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest residents with a wonderful time together! It was an afternoon filled with laughter, conversation, and getting to know one another a little better.

There’s something special about gathering together with friends and family, sharing stories, learning more about each other, and creating those connections that truly make a community feel like home. 🏡

Some days just feel like home. ❤️

Today was one of our residents’ favorite monthly traditions! The wonderful First Christian Church ladies treated everyone to Casey’s pizza, delicious pies from the Apple Barn, and pop. Beyond the great food, it’s the conversations, laughter, and sense of community that make this day so special.

We’re so grateful for the kindness and generosity of the FCC ladies for making these visits something our residents look forward to each month. And as an added bonus, our kitchen staff gets a well-deserved break!

Thank you for helping make Courtyard Estates of Girard feel like home. 🏡🍕🥧
