We’re excited to announce the launch of our Stork Program! 🍼🚑

This program is designed to recognize and support the incredible moments when our EMS providers help bring new life into the world. Whether it’s an unexpected roadside delivery or assisting a family in their most important moment, your crews are there when it matters most.

Through the Stork Program, we’ll be celebrating these special calls, honoring the providers involved, and creating lasting memories for the families we serve.

This program will go live on May 1, 2026. There will be a link on our website to allow submissions to this program!

Stay tuned as we share some amazing stories and recognize the dedication of the EMS providers all over Southwest Virginia! 💙

We want to take a moment to recognize the true first, first responders — our Washington County Virginia Sheriff's Office 911 dispatchers.

From all of us at the Glade Spring division of Richardson Ambulance Service, thank you for being the calm in the chaos. When calls come in at their worst moments, you are the steady voice guiding the way, gathering critical information, and helping keep both our crews and our community safe.

Behind every siren is a dispatcher who set things in motion — coordinating, communicating, and supporting us every step of the way. Your quick thinking, dedication, and compassion never go unnoticed.

We are grateful to work alongside you each day. Thank you for everything you do for our crews and the communities we serve.
