Reiki Rejuvenation: Usui and Rainbow

August 12th is Mikao Usui's birthday. His fifth Reiki Principle is to be kind each day. Acts of kindness have profound effects on the physiology of stress. Medscape published some interesting research findings that reveal some of these effects. Here are a few.

Acts of kindness are associated with decreased cortisol levels and improved inflammatory markers in the body.

Three kind acts per week decrease anxiety and increase self-esteem.

Giving a gift prior to a stressful event results in faster pulse and blood pressure recovery time after the stressful event.

These research results were not available to Mikao Usui, but he knew the power of kindness. May the positive physical benefits of kindness be a motivational force to increase kindness among us all. 💖

I am excited to teach Meeting the Angels again the weekend of January 17th and 18th! It will be via Zoom from 9 am to 5 pm NYC time each day. The class must be paid in full by January 15th so that you can receive the manual and multiple handouts early enough to print them, if you choose to, prior to the class. You also need to acquire the tumbled stones needed for the class. The total cost is $400, including a certificate and follow up assistance as needed. A brief summary of the class content:
You will learn how to work intimately and effectively with Angels. You will discover who they really are and what they can do for you, your loved ones, and our world. You will learn about the nine orders of angels and what areas each one specializes in, and how you can make conscious and intimate contact with them for specific needs with specific Angel symbols and rituals.You will experience their distinct light and understand the place they have in the spiritual and material worlds with the diverse duties and healing methods they are responsible for. These are beautiful energies that will "lift you up to where you belong."

If you have taken the class before, you may take it again at half price. I will be teaching the second level Angel class, The Crystal Path, in the Spring. Meeting the Angels is required to take this next level.

👼🪽I immensely enjoyed teaching Meeting the Angels in September. The energy and its reception was beautiful and inspiring.

To make it more accessible, people asked if I would teach this class over a weekend rather than during the week, so I am doing that on Martin Luther King weekend, January 17th and 18th, Saturday and Sunday, via Zoom from 9 am to 5 pm NYC time.

I hope you will join this deeply healing experience to learn how to work most effectively with Angels. 🙌This half hour presentation will change your ideas about Reiki!🌈

Last weekend I attended the online International Reiki Research Conference. It was excellent. Below is the link to the first day. Please view the Key Note presentation 15 min 45 seconds into the recording to 1 hour 4 minutes 25 seconds. The speaker is Shamini Jain PhD, adjunct professor at the University of California, San Diego in the Department of Family Medicine. She is a Clinical Psychologist and award winning researcher and author in Psycho Neuro Immunology. She talks about Biofield Science and the rigorous research that reputable institutions such as Harvard and the University of Connecticut have done on the effect of Reiki on Cancer and non Cancer cells. A friend who is a neurologist, was impressed by the quality and results of the considerable research being done with Reiki and other Biofield healing methods.

Two days ago I received a beautiful message from a client whom I worked with for several months last year. She had significant mental health issues. When she concluded our treatment period I wished our work together would have had a greater impact.

This is a part of the message she sent me two days ago. “Firstly, I want to say that I feel that you are one of the most brightest and kindest souls I have ever come across and you are a divine presence. I am always wishing you well 🙂. Thank you for “taking me in” and showing me the ultimate form of tenderness and for seeing the light in me. The way that you nurtured my spirit with the Gaia presence you carry (as well as many other forms of the divine) has forever touched my soul.

Thank you so much for everything you have done for me and how you’ve connected me back to myself and my true light. I am so so grateful, and I do not know how to repay you. I feel you saved my life. And I do not mean that lightly.”

I am so moved by and grateful for her words. We do not always know the impact our work with Rainbow Reiki has on others. Things are not always what they seem. 🌈🙌🏻🌈
