🧠 Could your community group benefit from a stroke education session?
Bare Face RVA is offering community-focused stroke education sessions designed to help individuals and groups better understand stroke, warning signs, and risk factors that can be managed.
Led by Dr. Sherita Chapman, a fellowship-trained vascular neurologist, these sessions are created to be practical, easy to understand, and focused on prevention and awareness.
Topics can include:
✔️ What is a stroke?
✔️ How to recognize stroke warning signs
✔️ When to call 911
✔️ Common stroke risk factors
✔️ Blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, smoking, sleep apnea, and lifestyle factors
✔️ What happens after a stroke
✔️ How families and communities can support prevention and recovery
These sessions can be customized for churches, community groups, senior organizations, women’s groups, workplace wellness programs, and local organizations.
The goal is simple:
Help more people recognize stroke early, understand their risks, and feel empowered to protect their brain health.
