Today was such a fun day full of adults looking to better themselves!

For adults, outside of my speech pathologist myofascial release work, I provide healing for the mind, body, and soul.

I feel very blessed to have found my calling as a hands-on healer. I am not only able to use this in my profession, but also in ways I never imagined would be possible.

I am able to help release trauma from the body, help you to reach a meditative state, help ease anxiety and stress, and with most to help provide a connection between you and loved ones on the other side.

I open myself to help communicate whatever it is that an individual needs in their life to move forward in some aspect, towards their full potential.

I do believe in God. And I do believe in Jesus. I also believe that I would not be doing this work without them. I have come across a lot of people who are afraid of using energy healing such as Reiki, healing hands, etc. because they fear that it is something beyond that. With me, it is not.

So many babies this month! 🥰
This little guy brings such a smile to my face. Although he wasn’t sure about me during his first session, he sure has come a long way and is all smiles!

I use Myofascial Release (MFR) and knowledge of speech pathology for communication and swallowing to help children of all ages.

MFR for children is so very gentle, although creates profound results.

Babies/infants may need MFR if they
•have difficulty gaining weight
•take a long time to finish bottle/feeding
•show signs of fatigue during feeding
•have difficulty latching
•have extremely tight bodies
•constantly roll to one side at early age
•do not like to be touched
•have tongue tie
•Torticollis/ severe head tilt to one side
•gassy or colic
•do not make sounds or use tongue

Myofascial Release treatment looks different with each child I work with.

•Some children come in unable to control the sensations in their bodies which cause frustrations and behaviors.
•Some children have so many restrictions that they are unable to formulate sounds with their mouths.
•Some children are so tight that the fascia creates great amounts of pain(up to 2,000 pounds per square inch) on their small sensitive bodies, which cause sensory processing issues, behaviors, unhappiness, and frustrations.
•Some kids are highly sensitive and it takes a little bit to get used to the feeling of being touched, but always get to the point of ‘letting go’ and wanting more touch.

•Some children lay on the massage table to receive treatment, some sit on my lap, some I chase around the floor! They are all different and we work at their level to fix their needs!

*What is always the same, is that I use a gentle hands on technique with John Barnes Myofascial Release techniques to help release the restrictions in the body.

💕💫This little guy did not love being touched on week one, but now comes to me wanting treatment in this position sometimes! So thankful for the ability to help my clients! 💕💫

Providing Myofascial Release to children with Autism or Sensory Processing disorders is SOO important to me! This article explains why! I am a speech pathologist, and am trained to provide this type of treatment to children and adults of all levels of severity of Autism!

According to this study…”connective tissues (fascia) can become restricted for various reasons, such as overuse or inactivity, trauma and psychogenic diseases (physical illnesses that are believed to arise from emotional or mental stressors, or from psychological or psychiatric disorders). This results in pain, muscle tension, and decreased blood flow” and that children with ASD who are treated with a series of MFR treatments can hope “for global improvement in all disorder-related deficits, from emotional aspects to posture correction”.

I see different types of gains in severe versus mild Autism, although every child I have treated has responded in an extremely positive manner!
