IT'S OFFICIAL đŸ§Ș

Active Rehab Chiropractic is now MOVEMENT LAB.

I've wanted this name for a long time. People hear "chiropractic" and picture popping joints. That's the smallest part of what I do. The name finally says what happens in that room.

Same location. Same number. Same prices. Same me. Your appointments carry over, so there's nothing you need to do. Just don't be shocked when you pull up and the sign looks different 😅

Now the fun part 👇

There's a whole LEVEL UP side to the practice. That lift that hasn't moved in months? The time you can't get under? The sticking point you've quit expecting to fix? That's what it's built for.

If you’ve got a high school athlete (any sport) dealing with an injury—or nagging issues that keep coming back—this video is for you. This video highlights baseball, but the concepts apply to every sport: understanding sport-specific demands, improving mechanics, and building a rehab plan that actually carries over to performance.
I’m building a sport-specific rehab program for high school athletes, and before I finalize it, I want input from parents so I design it around what YOU actually need.
I’m looking for parents to participate in a quick 20–30 minute interview. This is NOT a sales call—just information gathering. I’ll ask what you’re trying to solve, what outcomes you’d want to measure (pain, strength, speed, return-to-play, confidence), and what kind of communication/support would matter most.
If you’re open to chatting, comment “INTERVIEW” or message me. If you know a parent of an injured high school athlete, feel free to tag them or share this.

Quick fixes are great, but lasting relief means addressing the root cause.

Strengthen your neck: By strengthening your deep neck flexors, you'll also help to relax your tight upper traps.
Improve shoulder and upper-back mobility: Do those chin retractions we talked about!
Remember that movement is medicine. It's not about creating a "perfect" posture. It's about creating a lifestyle where getting moving is a priority.

With the right plan, “desk neck” doesn’t have to be part of your daily routine. Less tension. Better energy. More focus.

You don’t always need an hour in the gym to feel better. A few small habits during the day can make a huge difference:

Movement breaks: stand up every 30–45 minutes.
Shoulder rolls: loosen tight traps and reset posture.
Chin tucks: gently draw your chin back (like a double chin) to train neutral position. These can help to loosen up a
Screen setup: monitor at eye level to avoid looking down all day.

Try these for a week — your neck will thank you.

Neck tightness after a long workday isn’t random — it’s usually the result of how we sit.

When your head drifts forward toward the screen, the muscles in the back of your neck are basically holding up a bowling ball for hours. Add rounded shoulders and minimal breaks, and you’ve got the recipe for “desk neck.”

Symptoms: stiffness, headaches, even tingling in the shoulders or arms.
The solution isn’t just “better posture” — it’s about breaking up tension and getting your body moving again.

Good news: this is fixable. Adjust your monitor so the top is at eye level. This simple change helps keep your head stacked over your shoulders instead of drifting forward. Small setup tweaks go a long way toward reducing daily strain.
