Happy Senior Citizen’s “Young at Heart” Day from Glengariff Rehab! 💛

We had a wonderful time celebrating our amazing residents with a lively musical performance by Anita, delicious pineapple upside-down cake prepared by our kitchen, and plenty of smiles and fun! 🎶🍍🍰

Our residents and staff came together to enjoy the festivities and make the day extra special. It was a beautiful celebration filled with music, laughter, and wonderful memories—because at Glengariff, we’re always Young at Heart! ❤️

Happy National Piña Colada Day! Our lovely residents and staff enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon with delicious non-alcoholic piña coladas and cheerful music. The festive atmosphere brought smiles and a taste of the tropics as everyone relaxed and enjoyed time together. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring a little summer paradise to our Glengariff family.

Our residents had a refreshing time celebrating National Root Beer Float Day at Glengariff Rehab! Everyone enjoyed delicious root beer floats while reminiscing about favorite summertime memories, sharing stories from years gone by, and spending quality time with friends. Laughter, conversation, and sweet treats filled the room, creating a fun and nostalgic afternoon. It was another wonderful opportunity to bring smiles, encourage socialization, and celebrate the simple joys of summer together.

CareRite Centers is honored to celebrate the educators who make a difference every single day! This year, we'll be adopting one outstanding teacher from each of our regions: New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Florida, helping them start the school year with the supplies they need to inspire success.

Each selected teacher will receive a classroom supply bundle filled with essentials, including branded calculators, pens, pencils, and glue sticks!

🌺 Aloha & Welcome to our Hawaiian Luau! 🌴
Our very own tropical vacation at Glengariff Rehab was a success! Residents, family, and staff joined in for a sun-soaked afternoon of island vibes, sweet treats, and great company.
All dressed in their favorite tropical shirts and bright colors! We handed out traditional Hawaiian leis, danced to upbeat island music with our hula dancer, and enjoyed a special menu featuring ham, fresh fruit, and refreshing mock frozen daiquiris and Piña coladas at our tiki bar. Today we celebrated the Aloha spirit!

It was an afternoon filled with patriotic music by Bob Stack, festive snacks, and meaningful time with family and friends. We are grateful to everyone who attended our continuing education presentation, “Ethical Challenges and Professional Boundaries in Geriatric Care,” at Atria on Roslyn Harbor.

The evening was filled with insightful discussions, real-world case scenarios, and meaningful conversations about navigating ethical dilemmas, maintaining professional boundaries, and balancing patient autonomy with safety in the care of older adults.

A special thank you to our incredible partners, Atria on Roslyn Harbor, Glengariff Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Alvita Care, and Family First Home Companions, for helping make this event such a success.
