You have 20 minutes.
But you’re checking your phone.
Thinking about tomorrow.
Making a mental list.
Answering one more thing.
Your body stopped., but your mind didn’t.
Maybe the practice isn’t finding more time.
Maybe it’s learning how to pause inside the time you already have.
Start by noticing.

The end of the day reminds and insists that we slow down.

Our kids need that reminder just as much as we do.

After a full day of school, activities, homework, friends, big feelings, and a million little things to process, sometimes getting into bed isn’t quite enough to make the brain and body ready for sleep.

They need a little help letting go of the day.

That’s the main reasons I love practicing Yoga Nidra with my own kids. It gives them a transition time to let go of the day—to bring their attention back into their bodies, soften, breathe, and gradually settle.

I created the bedtime Yoga Nidra practice I use with my own kids into a simple guide for parents. It includes a step-by-step bedtime script you can read to your child, along with a guided audio recording for those nights when you’re the one who is completely ready for bed.

Because sometimes the best bedtime routine isn’t another thing to do.

It’s simply creating a little space to slow down together.

I’ve had someone ask me recently, “Why did you decide to make Grounded online?”

And I realized you might be wondering the same thing.

First, I’m not moving away from in-person yoga.
In-person classes are still an option that will begin later in October. I’m exploring both.

But Grounded is something different.

I wanted to create a structured four-week experience—not just another yoga class.

Each week builds on the one before:

Week 1 — Pause
Learning to slow down and notice what’s happening.

Week 2 — Awareness
Recognizing the patterns in your body, breath, and daily life.

Week 3 — Changing Thoughts
Noticing the thoughts and stories that keep you stuck in “I have to,” “I should,” and “there’s no time for me.”

Week 4 — Sustain
Creating practices you can actually continue long after these four weeks are over.

And I chose an online format because I want these practices to fit into real life.

This picture is from when my son was two. I was trying to get a little yoga practice in while he played—and eventually, he joined me.

It wasn’t quiet.
It wasn’t perfectly set up.
It definitely wasn’t a yoga studio.

But it was real life.

And that’s actually what Grounded is about.

Your life isn’t going to suddenly become calm and perfectly organized.

There will still be kids who need you.
Work.
Laundry.
Full calendars.
Unexpected things.
Days when everything seems to happen at once.

Grounded isn’t about escaping all of that.

It’s about learning how to come back to yourself within it.

That’s why Grounded is online.

Four weeks.
A small group of women.
A structured experience with yoga, breathwork, meditation, reflection, and practical tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

Grounded begins October 6.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re constantly “on,” I’d love to have you join us.

You might not need a completely different life.
You might need a different way of moving through the life you already have.

Maybe you’ll notice that you catch yourself before the overwhelm completely takes over.

Maybe you’ll recognize when you’ve been absorbing too much information.

Maybe you’ll know what practice to reach for when you’re stressed.

Maybe you’ll start putting yourself back on your own list.

Maybe you’ll feel a little more connected to yourself.

That’s what Grounded is about.

Your life will still be busy.
Your kids will still need you.
Your inbox will still fill up.
Plans will still change.

The difference is that you’ll have tools to help you come back to yourself in the middle of it.

Yup. You don’t. You’re getting kids where they need to go. You’re working. You’re making dinner. You’re answering texts. You’re remembering everyone’s schedules.
The last thing you need is another program demanding an hour of your day.
Grounded was intentionally created to fit into real life. It’s one hour a week by zoom, which will be recorded and sent to you, regardless of if you attend or not
The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s learning how to make a little space for yourself—even when life is full.
Sometimes that might be 10 minutes.
Sometimes you might have longer.
The point is learning that you are worth making room for.

What if you could notice yourself getting overwhelmed before you hit the breaking point?

Not after you’ve snapped.
Not after you’ve spent the entire day running on empty.
Not after everyone else has gotten what they need and there’s nothing left for you.

What if you learned to recognize the signs earlier—and knew what to do when you noticed them?

That is Grounded.
