Please join us in welcoming our newest resident, Thomas Clowdus, to the Silver Lakes family!

Mr. Clowdus attended Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, where he earned his associate degree. After college, he enjoyed living on the beach for a time and created many wonderful memories along the coast.

Family is very important to Mr. Clowdus. He is the proud father of one son and one daughter, whom he loves deeply. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, spending time outdoors, and fishing. He also has a unique love for animals and has owned several parrots over the years!

We're excited to have Mr. Clowdus as part of our community and look forward to getting to know him better. Be sure to say hello and give him a warm Silver Lakes welcome! ❤️🏡🎣🦜

Betty is a true people person who loves meeting new friends and sharing conversations with everyone she meets. Family is very important to her, and she is especially excited about a new great grandbaby who will be arriving soon!

When she's not spending time with loved ones, Betty enjoys dancing, painting, and relaxing with a good cup of coffee. ☕🎨💃

🚗🎉 We kicked off an early Father’s Day celebration with the amazing fathers of Silver Lakes Senior Living! Our evening started with a trip to First Friday, where we enjoyed checking out the classic cars and soaking in the community atmosphere. We then headed to Mater’s Pizza for a delicious dinner before wrapping up the night with a friendly game of pool.

From great food and classic cars to laughter and fellowship, it was a wonderful evening spent celebrating the incredible dads in our community. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers who make our lives so special! 💙🍕🎱

🎉 Welcome to Silver Lakes Senior Living, Jim! 🎉

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest resident, James "Jim" Chapman!

Jim proudly served our country in the United States Army and dedicated 33 years to law enforcement as a Detective, spending his career serving and protecting others. He is the proud father of three children and brings with him a lifetime of stories, experiences, and wisdom.

When he's not relaxing, Jim enjoys watching football, fishing, and settling in for a good Western movie. His favorite meal includes hot dogs and French fries, and his favorite holiday is Christmas—a time filled with family, traditions, and joy.

We're honored to have Jim as part of the Silver Lakes family and look forward to getting to know him better. If you see him around the community, be sure to stop by and say hello!

Today at Silver Lakes Senior Living, a patriotic spirit filled our community as we came together to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸

We were proud to recognize our 11 veterans, 14 widows, and many others who joined us in remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice because freedom isn’t free. The ceremony included patriotic and spiritual songs, as well as a special pinning ceremony led by our widowed veterans to honor each veteran attendee.

It was an emotional and meaningful tribute filled with gratitude, remembrance, and pride. We ended the ceremony with a special “at ease” moment as our veterans gathered together for one final “HOOAH!” ❤️🤍💙
