We are so proud to announce that Grand Meadows has been named best "Senior Citizens Services" in the 2026 Best of Glencoe Awards! 🎉❤

Our team feels SO honored! We are especially grateful for our residents, families, community, partner organizations, and friends who took the time to vote and support us. A special thank you to our amazing staff for their compassion, dedication, and commitment to our residents.

Today, we took some needed time to celebrate Michele Mackenthun's retirement!🥳

Michele has dedicated 17 years to Grand Meadows. Being here when the building first opened! She has been the fabric of our community, pouring her heart into every task at hand.

Most of all, Michele has a knack for knowing residents and their families, sometimes before they even know Grand Meadows. Residents feel at home from the very start of their journey here through her.

Her expansive knowledge of business is second to none. We are grateful for her many years of commitment but are excited for her new journey. Michele's family is a huge part of her world and the future holds amazing adventures with them, that she will treasure forever.

Happy retirement Michele, the best is yet to come. Michele will be around until the end of September, assisting our new Operations Manager, Angela Templin, with getting settled in. We encourage everyone to stop by and say hi throughout these next few weeks. ❤
