Great piece in the Los Angeles Times about home sharing - featuring our Home Match program!

“The demand is ever growing,” said Lucie Ashley, director of operations for Home Match, a nonprofit that provides similar services in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa and Marin counties, with plans to expand to Santa Clara and Los Angeles counties. “The cost of housing just keeps going up and building housing takes time. Home sharing programs are a great way to meet an immediate need.”

What a week! 🍾The champagne was flowing as Spring Lake Village kicked off its weeklong 40th Anniversary celebration with an extravagant gourmet spread featuring a chilled seafood bar, local Marin and Sonoma County cheeses, grilled vegetable bar, charcuterie and a variety of decadent desserts.😋🍰🥗

Throughout the week, community pride was palpable as Spring Lake Village hosted special events and activities to celebrate this milestone anniversary. The week concluded with a gala four-course dinner featuring locally grown produce, local artisan cheeses, filet mignon and lobster.🦞🥩

More than just an anniversary, this was a celebration of the residents and team members who, together, have made Spring Lake Village the incredibly special community it is today.

Twice a year members of our leadership team travel to our senior living communities to share information about the State of the Organization – including financial and operational updates. But the real point of this whole exercise is this: to listen to the story that the numbers don't tell and to connect with one another in new ways. Through these essential conversations we get to the heart of what makes us strong and where we need to grow.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to the wellbeing of our Front Porch community.
