🌴✈️ Traveling with a child on the Autism spectrum can be incredibly rewarding—with the right preparation! Here are some helpful tips to make your family vacation smoother, safer, and full of memorable moments:
✨ Prepare ahead of timeTalk through the trip with your child using photos, videos, or social stories so they know what to expect. Familiarity can help reduce anxiety.
🧳 Pack comfort & essentialsBring favorite toys, snacks, headphones, or sensory items. A “comfort kit” can be a lifesaver during long waits or overwhelming moments.
📅 Stick to a flexible routineTry to maintain some consistency around meals, rest, and bedtime—but build in flexibility for unexpected changes.
🔊 Plan for sensory needsAirports, planes, and tourist spots can be loud and crowded. Noise-canceling headphones or choosing quieter times/locations can help avoid overload.
🚧 Safety firstHave ID on your child (bracelet or card), take a recent photo daily, and identify safe meeting spots in case you get separated.
🎉 Focus on fun, not perfectionKeep expectations realistic. Celebrate small wins and take breaks when needed—your child’s comfort is the priority.
💙 With thoughtful planning and patience, your family can create beautiful memories together!

🚀 The Autism Workforce Is Growing Fast: Where BCBAs and RBTs Are Expanding Across the U.S.

🚀 The demand for autism and behavioral health services continues to accelerate across the United States.

New certification data from May 2026 shows significant growth in both BCBA and RBT professionals nationwide, highlighting a rapidly expanding workforce dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

🔹 Florida led the nation in new BCBA certifications with +171 new Board Certified Behavior Analysts added in a single month.

🔹 Texas dominated RBT growth with an incredible +466 new Registered Behavior Technicians, nearly doubling the next closest state.

🔹 Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, California, and New York continue to emerge as major hubs for ABA service expansion.

What stands out most isn’t just the numbers—it’s what they represent.

Every new BCBA means more clinical leadership, supervision, and quality programming.

Every new RBT means more direct support for children, adults, and families who rely on these services every day.

As our field continues to grow, the focus must remain on developing skilled clinicians, providing meaningful supervision, and ensuring families receive the quality care they deserve.

The future of behavioral healthcare looks bright.

For the Parents that Never Give Up…To My Hero’s…

For the parents who cry in private but smile in public.

For the parents who celebrate victories that nobody else notices.

For the parents who have heard “can’t” more times than they can count.

This is for you.

Because while the world may see a diagnosis, you see a child.

A child with dreams.

A child with potential.

A child worth fighting for.

And every day, despite the exhaustion, the fear, and the uncertainty, you keep showing up.

You keep believing.

You keep loving.

You keep fighting.

That’s what changes lives.

Not perfection.

Not miracles.

Just relentless love.

At Path 2 Potential, we believe different isn’t a limitation.

It’s a different kind of greatness waiting to be discovered.

❤️ Every child.
❤️ Every family.
❤️ Every victory matters.

📚 Top 3 Books Every Parent of a Child with Autism Should Read

When your child is diagnosed with autism, it can feel like you’re entering a whole new world. The good news? You don’t have to navigate it alone.

These three books have helped countless families better understand autism, strengthen their connection with their child, and see the world through a different lens:

📖 The Reason I Jump — A powerful look into the mind of a nonspeaking autistic child.

📖 The Whole-Brain Child — Practical strategies to help children regulate emotions and build resilience.

📖 Uniquely Human — A compassionate and refreshing perspective that focuses on understanding behavior rather than simply changing it.

No book has all the answers, but the right book can provide understanding, confidence, and hope.

Remember: You are your child’s greatest advocate, and every step you take to learn more is a step toward helping them reach their fullest potential.

💙 Keep learning.
💚 Keep growing.
💙 Keep believing in your child’s amazing potential.

Two leaders. 👑 Two families. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 One mission 🚀 that refuses to settle for the status quo. 💪

Years ago, we shared a vision that the autism industry could be better. Better support for families. Better opportunities for clinicians. Better outcomes for the individuals we serve.

What began as an idea became a commitment. That commitment became a company. And that company has grown into a team of passionate professionals dedicated to changing lives every single day.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. Building something meaningful never is. It requires sacrifice, resilience, difficult decisions, and an unwavering belief in a mission bigger than yourself. But through every challenge, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to the families who trust us and the children whose futures inspire us.

Today, we stand incredibly proud of what Path 2 Potential has become—but even more excited about what it is about to become.

For months, we have been working behind the scenes on initiatives, partnerships, and innovations that have the potential to create an even greater impact on the autism community. The vision is expanding. The opportunities are growing. And the future is brighter than ever.

This isn’t about building a bigger company.

It’s about building a bigger impact.

To every family, staff member, supervisor, clinician, and supporter who has been part of this journey—thank you. Your trust, dedication, and belief in our mission have made this possible.

We’re just getting started.

Some of the biggest announcements in Path 2 Potential’s history are coming soon, and we cannot wait to share them with you.

The best is yet to come. 💙💚

DO YOU HAVE MEDICAID AND DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START?

If your child has autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges, it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out what services are available and how to access them.

The good news is that many children with Medicaid may qualify for valuable services at little or no cost to their families.

These services may include:
✅ ABA Therapy
✅ Speech Therapy
✅ Occupational Therapy
✅ Parent Training
✅ Behavioral Support
✅ Care Coordination
✅ Early Intervention Services
✅ Respite Services
✅ Social Skills Programs

Many parents are surprised to learn just how much help may be available. The hardest part is often simply knowing where to begin.

📞 New York Medicaid Helpline:
1-800-541-2831

Representatives can help explain Medicaid benefits, eligibility requirements, and services available for your child.

Remember: An autism diagnosis is not the end of the story—it’s the beginning of understanding how your child learns and grows. With the right support, children can make incredible progress and families do not have to navigate this journey alone.

There is hope.
There is help.
There is a path forward.

At Path 2 Potential, we are committed to helping families connect with the services, resources, and support they deserve.
