ALL FOR HEALTH OFFICES CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF ITS FIRST ANNUAL “FOUNDER’S DAY” COMMEMORATIVE HOLIDAY HONORING DR. NOOBAR JANOIAN
The Holiday season has been extended by an additional day for all of the Employees at each of the thirteen All For Health, Health For All locations. Hereafter, December 23rd will be a company-wide, paid Holiday, which we will name “Founder’s Day” in honor of All For Health’s benevolent and beloved founder, Dr. Noobar Janoian.
The Administration of All For Health surprised its loyal and hardworking staff with this announcement last week, which came as a welcomed ray of sunshine in a year that has been marked by loss, illness, uncertainty, fear, and stress, especially for those of us working in public health during these very challenging and trying times. Adding this very meaningful day of commemoration and celebration is a way of memorializing our most faithful Dr. Janoian, whom we lost this May, and inviting each of us who carry on his life’s mission on a daily basis to reflect on his inspiring legacy on his birthday, which now, we will commemorate as Founder’s Day!
December 23rd has always been a special day for those of us at All For Health. Being adjacent to Christmas and being our founder, Dr. Janoian’s birthday, it always marked the start of the Holiday for us with one of our epic celebrations. During our festive annual holiday parties, we would applaud another year of service to our community, praise our loyalty to one another and the mission we serve, and celebrate the birthday of our founder, our most-beloved Doctor, co-worker, father-figure, and friend, Dr. Janoian. This year is like none before. Covid-19 and the passing of Dr. Janoian rendered these celebrations impossible.
Despite this year being an undeniably difficult one, the AFH Administration vowed to restore the familiar joy of December 23rd in some measure. It has been decided that Founder’s Day will remain a company holiday in perpetuity so that December 23rd will remain one of our most memorable and anticipated days of the year—a holiday which will reward our faithful staff as well as serve to keep Dr. Janoian’s spirit and memory alive at his cherished All For Health, Health For All.
For the future, we envision many meaningful and memorable ways to commemorate Founder’s Day at All For Health that will continue to bond the All For Health family of employees as well as serve as a loving and deserved tribute to Dr. Janoian. May we all continue to strive to fulfill the virtues and goals upon which Dr. Janian founded All For Health, Health For All.
