We couldn’t let National Lemonade Day go by without celebrating at The Pines at Glens Falls! 🍋

Our residents and staff enjoyed refreshing lemonade together in the afternoon, making for a simple and sweet way to brighten the day. Even our daily joke board got in on the theme!

We celebrated National Dog Day with a sauce contest to top our hot DOGs—and no dogs were harmed during this event! 😉🌭

It was a fun (and very tasty) day, with Holly, our 4th Floor Unit Manager, taking home the win! Every entry was delicious, though, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined in by submitting a sauce, casting a vote, and contributing to our employee fund.

The Pines at Glens Falls community came together in a big way to help make back-to-school season a little brighter for the students at Big Cross Street School PTA! 📚

Over the past month, we collected nearly 800 packaged items, including dry erase boards, markers, highlighters, pencils, erasers, paper, note cards, notebooks, folders, backpacks, and so much more for our young friends.

A huge thank-you to everyone who donated and helped make this collection such a success. Everything was packed, organized, and delivered right to the front door of Big Cross Elementary—ready to help students start the school year off strong!

Is there a better way to spend a few hours on a beautiful summer day than by the water with good food and friends? ☀️

The Senior Center of The Kingsbury and Fort Edward Area, Inc. hosted its annual Summer Picnic, and we were so happy to join in the fun! From classic summer fare and a beautiful view to raffle prizes and a 50/50, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with good food, great company, and plenty of summer spirit.
