These remarkable teams bring comfort, joy, and connection to patients, visitors, and staff throughout the hospital. Whether offering a gentle nuzzle, a wagging tail, or simply a quiet presence, these special companions remind us that healing can come in many forms.

This week, we were blessed with an incredibly thoughtful donation from the LaPierre family.

Heather and Andrew brought in a beautiful basket to be given to a Snuggery family in need. Their daughter, Celine, is just one year old, and it is so heartwarming to see a young family teaching the importance of kindness, generosity, and giving back. This donation also carries a very special meaning. Heather and Andrew asked that we remember their angel baby, Vera.

Thank you, Heather and Andrew, for your generosity and for allowing us to share Vera’s memory. Your kindness will touch a family who needs it most!

A very warm thank you to Mary DeSantis and Bryn, one of our amazing volunteer therapy dog teams, for raising funds for Amanda’s House at Glens Falls Hospital and Donate Life!

Mary recently published a children's book, Please Pet Me: I'm Bryn, a Lovable Therapy Dog, all about Bryn and her special journey to becoming a therapy dog. Mary and Bryn visited the hospital recently to sign and sell copies of her book to support Amanda’s House, our home away from home for patients and their loved ones traveling a distance to receive health care at Glens Falls Hospital, and Donate Life.

Special thanks to Mary and Bryn and for their efforts and generosity and to all our Glens Falls Hospital Therapy Dog Teams for all the magical work you do every day!
