Talk about a full-circle moment! 🚴‍♀️🏅 One of our audiologists, Dr. Hailey Pytel, recently completed the Tour de Cure ride in Albany while our Hearing Center supervisor, Dr. Deborah Backus volunteered at the event. The two crossed paths at the finish line, where a well-earned medal was presented in celebration of an incredible accomplishment.

Reflecting on the event, Dr. Pytel shared, “I was glad to be part of Tour de Cure with the Albany Med team representing Glens Falls Hospital. I was also fortunate to spend my training in our own Wellness Center in the weeks prior to the race. As a total, Tour de Cure raised over $313,000 for the American Diabetes Association. It was a difficult ride, but I’m so happy to see the positive impact this has for the diabetes community.”
