Thomas Edward Fahy of North Wales died on June 13, 2026. He was 94.

Tom was the loving husband of Margaret Fahy until her passing in 2008.

Did you know your worn American flag could be retired alongside a veteran who served our country?

When an American flag becomes torn, faded, or no longer fit for display, it should be retired with dignity and respect. One of the traditional methods of flag retirement is ceremonial burning—but many people are surprised to learn how we help carry out that tradition.

At William R. May Funeral Home, retired flags may be placed with a veteran who is being cremated, allowing the flag to be respectfully retired alongside someone who proudly served under it.

It's a powerful and meaningful way to honor both our nation's flag and the men and women who dedicated their lives to serving our country.
