Magical ✨

If I could relive the birth and that first day postpartum on repeat, I would.

Not because it was painless.
Not because it was easy.
But because it was the closest thing to magic I’ve ever lived through.

The way time slowed down.
The way the room went quiet.
The way my whole world fit inside a hospital blanket and laid on my chest like they already knew me.

Everyone talks about pregnancy.
Everyone talks about labor.
But no one talks about the sacred stillness of that first day.

The disbelief.
The bonding.
The “oh my God, you’re mine.”

I’d go through every tear, every ounce of exhaustion again just to feel that moment one more time.
That brand new beginning.
That instant love you can’t explain.

Some memories change you.
Birth changed me.

Hi there! After a wonderful birth and post postpartum break with my own most recent babe, I’m happy to announce that DouLady’s in-person birth and postpartum doula care is available once again.

As always, in order to best serve our Kentuckiana community, all clients are accepted on a sliding scale.

Gift cards are also available on the website for those wishing to give the gift of doula care for a loved one, or as an addition to your birth registry. 💫 💜 🫶🏼

🐣I've got some BIG news! I am expecting a sweet new babe myself this spring, and therefore will be having to discontinue in-person birth and postpartum doula care for awhile by April 1.

In the meantime, I've got a few more openings for the month of March, so if you are in Kentuckiana and need a birth or postpartum doula, I am here to serve you. As always, I practice on a sliding scale.

After April 1, I am happy to announce that I will continue to offer virtual doula services to all. You can try on-demand virtual care for a day or a month to see if this is a good fit for you!
