Two years ago, I picked this woman up from a McDonald’s parking lot in Camden and brought her to Gateway House. Little did I know, she would become an invaluable business partner and, more importantly, a trusted friend.

Cassandra and I have now appeared before the hostile zoning board of Gloucester City THREE times to defend our right to operate a LEGAL and STATE LICENSED CSLR. On August 16, we will make our final stand before our battle in Federal Court begins. As we get closer to the hearing, we will once again ask for your support. In the meantime, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to acknowledge Cassandra’s contribution to Gateway and to the community. I am thrilled to announce that she is now Gateway Recovery Resources’ Director of Operations, a title she has undeniably earned.

As always, if you or someone you love in struggling with addiction, do not hesitate to reach out! Yes, Gateway does have a sober living. However, our true raison d’etre is to help people find access to treatment, sober livings, funding, and HOPE.
