UPDATE!

Thanks to everyone who donated these last few days, I can say that tomorrow morning, May 18th, I'll be able to wire over my room & board deposit of

CFH 1000 (about $1,300)
which secures my meals and
a bed to rest my weary head.
Woot Woot!

BUT WAIT! WHAT'S NEXT???

TRAVEL: Approx $3000 - round trip airfare from Boston to Zurich and transportation from the airport to the school and back. Costs are going UP as the departure date of June 6th gets closer.

ROOM & BOARD BALANCE: CHF 2'000, approximately $2,541 with a conversion rate of 1:1.27 - fluctuates greatly moment to moment. This is due upon my arrival, so I'll have to send it the morning that I fly out, June 6th.

LOST INCOME: Approx $4000

APPROX AMOUNT TO STILL GO: $10,000

WAIT A MINUTE! Why does the campaign amount say $7,000?
Originally I was trying to get the ball rolling with 50% tuition and flights. This campaign has helped me secure my tuition deposit and room and board deposit, but alas, there are still expenses, and I can't go back and edit that amount in the campaign.

So I'm clearly still sweatin' bullets...

I am SO grateful for the love and generosity that is making this dream possible. As I prepare to begin my PhD program at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland, THIS JUNE, I want to gather my people, say THANK YOU in person, and share what this journey is actually all about.

at Cape Ann Community Cinema

I’ve been able to secure my deposit into the qualifying phase 1 for the PhD program in Expressive Arts at the European Graduate School—and I would love to celebrate with you!

This event is a chance to say thank you, share a glimpse into what I’ll be exploring in my studies, and invite you to experience some of the creative and playful practices that are at the heart of my work.

I'll give a presentation regarding my upcoming adventure, and we’ll spend time connecting, engaging in light experiential activities (nothing intimidating, I promise), and enjoying the kind of moments where creativity and humor naturally open something meaningful.

Mostly, this is simply a gathering to appreciate what’s already in motion—together.

I hope you’ll join me for an afternoon of connection, curiosity, and a lot of fun.

Was 2025 a collection of seversl dumpster fires, that boarded the sinking Titanic, guided by the light of the exploding Hindenburg? Well, guess what? It’s coming to a close. Now, sure, the leap from Dec 31 - Jan 1 just one day slipping into another, but its significance has a function, just like the dumpster fires. Learn from them and let it all go. Bub-bye!
