TMI POST WARNING: read on if you’re in need of help with your health - gut, gallbladder/liver, autoimmune, cancer, adrenal fatigue, inflammation, etc.
In functional medicine approach, the liver is the governing organ. It controls the entire body.
If you’ve ever seen me for a consult, you’ll recall me talking about gut health and how the liver controls the balance of the gut and the adrenals. There’s SO much more to it that I won’t get into on this post.
If you’ve watched any of my videos you’ve probably heard me talk about my own health journey - adrenal fatigue, hormone and gut issues. Most recently I’ve been battling my gallbladder.
It seems to flare up once a year around the end of summer. This year it was worse than ever and even came with a host of new symptoms like chronic leg and joint pain. Routine blood work I run on myself every year indicated that this time I’d better get serious about fixing the root of my problems and that my liver is in trouble.
So I prayed and thought and prayed some more. And this book came to me.
The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush https://a.co/d/fArkh8G
Weirdly, in grad school, my roommate had made me a copy of the flush protocol. It consists of a week of diet restriction with a flush at the end. I’m not going to go into detail about the flush here. If you want to do this, buy the book or come see me. It’s way too in depth for a Facebook post.
Back then I had lots of gut issues but I was too scared to try this. At this point, I’m desperate and having an unnecessary removal of my gallbladder isn’t an option for me.
Flush #1 was completed today. Mind you, I was told via ultrasound, that I had no gallstones or intrahepatic stones. Today, I passed probably more than 300 stones. Some tiny, some as large as a dime. The process was virtually pain free and I wasn’t sick 🤮 at all. It was bizarre to see these things being expelled.
The book says that some people must do more than 20 flushes to rid themselves of all of the stones in their liver and gallbladder. Even if you have no G.I. symptoms at all, but suffer from any of the other things that I listed or even other health conditions, you have sludge or stones present.
The process of the thickening of the bile happens from a lot of different things : stress, PTSD, medications, shots, poor diet, drug and alcohol use, etc.
I know this is the answer to a lot of my underlying issues, and I’m excited about my next year of flushing and ridding myself of these harmful, toxic blockages. Blocking the bile = disease.
The pic is just one stone. It was about 1” long. Jacob told me not to post the more graphic ones 😂 but if anyone wants to see more pm me. It’s wild!
Here’s to a clean liver! I hope this helps someone else searching for some answers 🙏
