I highly recommend this course for anyone that spends anytime in the "woods".

This crew braved the rain and the wilderness to finish the GB2 Master Navigator Course this past weekend! Hope to see you all in the woods again. Proud of each and every one of you for getting off the couch, getting outside, and learning critical map reading and land navigation skills.

I’ve got one more offering for this course in October followed by the all-new Tactical Navigator Course for anyone preparing for various military and LEO special operations selection courses. Check my website for details.

Recent video from Joshua Enyart's Bushcraft Course out in Colrain, Ma. One of the many tasks taught in the course is primitive cordage and rope making. That's what the students are "spinning" around in the video.
This venue is located on hundreds of acres of private land in western Massachusetts. We will be running Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) courses at this venue in August. Spent an amazing four days assisting Joshua Enyart with his Bushcraft Skills Course, packed with practical skills and hands-on projects that were tested during less-than-ideal conditions. Knot Lucky Fishing takes veterans and active-duty service members offshore fishing completely free of charge, giving them a space to decompress, reconnect, and find peace alongside others who understand their experiences. Many of the men and women we serve are carrying invisible wounds such as PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, depression, and isolation, and we believe healing doesn’t only happen in a clinic, it happens through shared experiences, purpose, and time on the water. These courses are designed to meet the needs of hikers, skiers, hunters, fisherman, trip leaders, camp staff, and other outdoor enthusiasts who recreate in remote locations. They will introduce you to caring for people who become ill or injured far from definitive medical care. Lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios where mock patients will challenge you to integrate your learning. At the end of the courses, you’ll have the knowledge, skills, and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations and receive certifications from SOLO and STB.
