A little look back at my 300‑hour training — hard to believe this was two years ago.
Here we were working Chair Pose at the wall with blocks: activating the adductors, engaging the glutes, supporting the spine, and finding true shoulder alignment.

Using props like this helps you understand where the effort really comes from in the pose — and reminds us there’s always more than one way to practice.
Always learning, always evolving.

If you’re local to the Sky Valley and want to explore mindful movement in person, I’d love to practice together. Reach out anytime.

There’s a certain kind of quiet that only happens outdoors — the breeze, the bowls, the way sound settles into the body.
Watching everyone melt into stillness felt like its own kind of medicine.

We’re bringing this energy back on July 25 | 8am–2pm for the Yoga Hike Experience 🌲✨
Outdoor yoga, a mindful hike, sound healing, light bites, and space to simply be.

Early Bird ends June 30 — save $25 with VYHIKE25.
Spots are intentionally limited and already filling.

If your body’s been asking for a reset, this is your sign.

Maybe the answer isn’t doing more.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, try slowing down, stepping away, and giving yourself space to reset. 🌿

A wonderful morning of Chair Yoga, movement, breath, and community. 💙

Our adaptive class focused on balance, mobility, flexibility, and mindful movement, with options to support different abilities and needs. The goal is simple: move, breathe, and feel good in your body.

One participant shared that the balance and mobility exercises helped her ankles and feet feel better after class—a wonderful reminder of how meaningful these small movements can be.

Interested in joining us? We’d love to welcome you. ✨

Pose Breakdown: Extended Side Angle (Utthita Parsvakonasana)

Extended Side Angle is one of those poses that asks for strength, length, and breath all at once.
I teach it often because it’s such a powerful blend of grounding and expansion.

Benefits:
• Strengthens legs + glutes
• Opens the side body and ribs
• Builds core stability
• Improves balance + endurance
• Encourages deeper, fuller breathing
• Creates space across the chest and shoulders
• Helps you feel rooted and energized at the same time

Whether you’re practicing indoors or out in nature, this pose is a reminder to stay strong through the legs and spacious through the heart.

What happens when you slow everything down—
your breath, your pace, your thoughts—
and let nature set the rhythm?

This 2‑minute slow‑mo moment is just a glimpse of what July 25 will feel like.
Outdoor yoga.
A scenic, mindful hike.
Playful pauses.
Sound healing under the trees.
Light bites + community.

A full‑body exhale in the middle of summer.
