Robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery has arrived at Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach.

On May 21, CHN’s orthopedic team will perform the first robotic-assisted total knee replacement in Curry County using the VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Solution — another major milestone following the introduction of joint replacement surgery locally in October 2025 with the addition of Dr. Hines and Dr. Inzunza.

This advanced technology assists surgeons with real-time data designed to support precision and personalization during knee replacement surgery.

For patients living with chronic knee pain, this advancement represents expanded access to sophisticated orthopedic care close to home.

The generosity was unexpected, thoughtful, and very much appreciated! Our team members are excited for what is sure to be a memorable day on the river and a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and dedication of healthcare workers across CHN.
