We have had so much fun exploring the beautiful city of Minneapolis! Last Thursday a group visited the Mill City Museum and learned all about the history of flour production in Minneapolis. Today another group braved the chilly morning to enjoy a walk through the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. It is much fun to explore Minneapolis as we transition into fall!

Assisted Living Week is off to a great start at Meadow Ridge! On Monday we all wore our hats, had an ice cream snack, and enjoyed the musical talents of Firespice. On Tuesday we broke out the flannel and had a campfire outside. Of course, residents and staff roasted s'mores! We are excited to continue celebrating this week!

We enjoyed Keynote Music Therapy this morning! Music Therapist Katie joins us two Thursdays a month in Memory Care to explore different types of music! Residents enjoy singing along!

Our friends from Bluebirds & Blooms came in to do a Connections in Blooms session with a group of Meadow Ridge Residents! We were all smiles as we created beautiful bouquets of flowers to decorate our apartments.

Meadow Ridges Annual Summer Party was a roaring good time! A Las Vegas themed casino night we had games, music, Markus Clegg: Magician going around doing close up magic, and a delicious spread prepared by our talented culinary department. The finale featured Todd "Elvis" Anderson! Thank you too all the residents, families and staff able to join us!
