🏋️ Lifting heavy isn’t inherently bad for your joints.
In fact, appropriately programmed resistance training can help improve muscular strength, joint function, and your body’s ability to tolerate physical demands.
The important factors? Load, volume, technique, recovery, and gradual progression.
Heavy is relative. What challenges one person may be manageable for another, and what your body can tolerate can change with training.
The goal isn’t to avoid challenging your body. It’s to build the capacity to handle those challenges.
