Great quick tip here (shared on Quora by a military veteran), that can help slow down your busy mind when it’s preventing you from falling asleep. Fun fact: This technique described in the shared article, also called “box breathing” or “square breathing,” is a wonderful quick exercise that you can use at ANY time in your stressful day, when you could use a brief meditative time-out, to reset your mind and bring yourself back to an immediate state of calm and centeredness.
