Upbeat Geriatrics visiting practice seeking a lively in office Triage Medical Assistant full time Monday through Friday. TEMPORARILY REMOTE

Job Description: Very busy geriatrics practice seeking to add a Medical Assistant to our triage team. This position has zero patient contact. Our providers need our support to triage all incoming, paperwork and faxes. The position is to work from home, but during the training session it is at our Golden Office.

Job Duties:

Working directly with providers in the field
Medication Records Request
Lab Request
Refill Request
Referrals
Maintaining Lab orders that have been sent by providers and track results.
Contacting providers directly for critical matters
Medication/Referral Prior Authorizations
Miscellaneous duties assigned
Qualifications:

MA Cert Preferred
EMR background
Clinical Office Experience
Microsoft background/education
Google background/education
1 Position Open
Shift:

Mon-Fri: 8A-430P
Remote after 2 weeks of inhouse training.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

NATIONAL NURSE PRACTITIONER WEEK NOVEMBER 7, 2021-November 13, 2021

Everyone, please thank our Nurse Practitioners during this national week of recognition for the caring and compassionate attention they provide to our Rocky Mountain Senior Care patients.
The first nurse practitioner certificate training program started here in Denver by Loretta Ford, EdD, PNP, FAAN and Henry Silver, M.D. in 1965. In the early 70’s it was upgraded to a full master’s degree program. It took years of work with legislators to achieve full recognition of their skills and contribution to our continuum of care. As our population ages and the shortage of physicians grows, the value of the nurse practitioner ensuring good health and well-being to our patient population becomes stronger.
Our thanks go not only to our Rocky Mountain Senior Care nurse practitioner family but all who have chosen this profession and serve those in need

We are pleased to introduce a new provider! Carol Rogers, NP joined RMSC in July. She is the newest addition to the South Colorado team. Her extensive medical experience began with the Air Force Reserves where she served for 26 years including deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. She states she has always had an affinity for her older patients and eventually transitioned exclusively to senior care. We are so happy to have her on board!
