Can going to concerts damage your hearing?

The answer is yes, but that doesn't mean you have to stop going.

In this Reddit Asked video, Dr. Nicole Oldrati explains how loud concerts can affect your hearing over time, the difference between temporary and permanent hearing changes, and how simple hearing protection can help you keep enjoying live music for years to come.

Life's best moments aren't always the loudest. ❤️

A grandchild's laugh.
Birds singing on a morning walk.
A whispered "I love you."

Protecting your hearing helps you stay connected to the people and moments you love most.

On this day in North Carolina History 🌟

From August 25–27, 1774, North Carolina made history when the First Provincial Congress met in New Bern. It was the first gathering anywhere in the Thirteen Colonies held in open defiance of British orders. The delegates appointed three men to represent North Carolina at the First Continental Congress in Philadelphia: William Hooper (New Hanover County), Joseph Hewes (Edenton), Richard Caswell (Chatham County).

Feeling dizzy every time you're in the car, on a boat, or even using virtual reality? While motion sickness is common, frequent dizziness could be a sign that your inner ear isn't functioning as it should.

Your inner ear plays a major role in balance. When your eyes, muscles, and inner ear send conflicting signals to your brain, symptoms like nausea, dizziness, cold sweats, and vertigo can occur.

If dizziness is becoming part of your daily life (outside of summer boat days 🙂), it may be time for a balance evaluation.
