✨ An Evening of Healing, Love & Release at The Parc!

What a beautiful and sacred experience we shared with the healing music of HoneyGold at our Honey Gold by Candlelight - A Healing Music Journey at The Parc Senior Living.💛🎶

Through music, intention and connection, we created a space for grief to soften, emotions to be released, and hearts to open. There were tears, not only of sadness, but of healing, remembrance, love and release. 🦋

Our caregivers were reminded of the importance of self-love and caring for themselves, because when we fill our own hearts and souls, we have so much more love to pour into others. 🤗 We touched on inner-child healing, finding peace within, and extending that peace and love outward to one another, to all beings, and to our world. 🌎✨

By the end, it truly felt as though the energy at The Parc had shifted lighter, softer, peaceful and filled with love. Today our residents as well as others have reported how peaceful they slept and how uplifting it was to their hearts. ❤️

Sometimes healing comes through a song, a tear, a deep breath, or simply allowing ourselves to feel. 🥰

Thank you Sariah and HoneyGold, for helping us create such a loving, meaningful space for healing, release, peace and love. 💛

May the peace we found within ourselves ripple outward into the world. 🌎 💫 God Bless 😇

We’re starting the week strong with a little Chair Exercise! 🪑❤️ Our residents are moving, stretching, smiling, and proving that staying active can be fun at any age!

💙 Today is National Grief Awareness Day.

Grief doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes it looks like laughter, living, making new memories, and finding joy, while still deeply missing someone you love.

Today, we hold space for those missing someone, grieving what could have been, supporting someone through illness, or carrying a loss no one else can see.

There is no timeline for grief and no “right” way to grieve. Grief is simply love that continues. 💙

Be gentle with yourself and with others today. You never know what someone may be carrying. 🕊️

The Parc was pretty in pink today and full of Dolly! 🎀✨ Our Senior Support Group theme was inspired by Dolly Parton’s “Butterfly Effect” which is to leave a little love wherever you go. 🦋💗

We talked about why we all love Dolly and ways we can be more like her by spreading love, kindness and joy to others which was her ultimate message and gift to the world. 💕

We tested our Dolly knowledge with a fun trivia game, enjoyed pink mimosas & cupcakes compliments of Hospice of Baton Rouge, and kept the Dolly spirit going all day as our residents colored pictures of Dolly and listened to her music! 🎶🧁🥂💗

And as Dolly says…
“If you see someone without a smile, give ’em yours!” 💕✨😁

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved resident, Linda “Cookie” Kliebert. 🤍
Our thoughts and prayers are with Cookie’s family and friends during this difficult time. May her sweet spirit and the memories she leaves behind live on in the hearts of all who loved her. 🕊️
