Servant's Heart Services

Servant's Heart Services Servant’s Heart Services was founded with compassion and purpose to support families navigating aging, dementia, and end-of-life care.

We provide in-home assessments and personalized guidance to keep your loved one safe, valued, and supported at home. With unwavering dedication, Stephanie has invested countless hours in advanced training, intensive study, and specialized certifications in elder care. Her passion and expertise are rooted in dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and end-of-life care—areas she now serves with deep compassion and purpose. Through her experience, Stephanie has witnessed the emotional weight families and caregivers carry when navigating the complexities of caring for a loved one. She has seen firsthand how a lack of support and guidance can leave families feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone. That understanding is what led to the creation of Servant’s Heart Services. At Servant’s Heart, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a warm and supportive environment. We work hand in hand with families to ensure every senior feels valued, respected, and truly cared for—because every life deserves dignity, purpose, and a servant’s heart. 🤍

A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way 💜

Today, as I was stopped at a red light, I noticed a man in the distance at the end of his driveway. He was using a walker and struggling to pull his trash can back toward his house.

Cars were passing by, but something in me just had to stop.
So I pulled in, got out, and helped him bring his trash can in.

He was so grateful, with tears in his eyes. I introduced myself, and he told me his name was Joe.
He invited me inside to help him with his insulin pump, and as we began talking, I learned a little more about what he was facing.
Mr. Joe, in his 80's, a US Veteran, is battling cancer, a brain tumor, diabetes, and now a broken hip.

As I listened to him, I couldn’t help but think about how many of our elderly neighbors are quietly trying to manage everyday tasks that have become incredibly difficult things that many of us don't think twice about. But many of them are doing it alone.

It was a reminder to me that sometimes we just need to notice people, check on our elderly neighbors, ask "can i help you do anything?"

It may only take 5 minutes, and I may have missed my afternoon meeting but it was worth it. Seeing someone like Mr. Joe, was being seen, being noticed, and knowing someone cared enough to stop their busy day to help him made his day. Those few moments meant something big to Mr. Joe.

If you see someone struggling, stop. Carry the groceries. Move the trash can. Hold the door. Offer your arm to help them walk safely. Or simply take a moment to smile, introduce yourself, and let them know that somebody sees them.

We hear so much about the bad in this world every single day.
Choose to be part of the good.💜

Serve one another, humbly in love. Gal. 5:13

Side note: this post is not about my good deed, its all about sharing kindness and Jesus. I have talked with his son and we are getting Mr. Joe more care.

✨ Remember When Thursday ✨

Some days feel heavier than others. If today is one of those days, this is your reminder to pause and remember.

Remember the prayers God has already answered.
Remember the strength He gave you when you thought you couldn't go on.
Remember the smiles, the laughter, and the precious moments that still live in your heart.

If you're caring for a loved one with dementia, know this: your love matters more than perfect words or perfect days. Every hug, every gentle touch, every act of patience is making a difference.

Don't let today's struggles make you forget yesterday's blessings or tomorrow's hope.

💜 Hold on to the good. Hold on to hope. God is still walking with you.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18

✨ Remember When Thursday ✨

Some memories may fade, but love has a way of staying close. 💜

Whether it's an old photograph, a favorite song, or a familiar story, those moments can bring comfort, connection, and even a smile.

If you're caring for someone with dementia, don't underestimate the power of reminiscing. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give is simply sitting together and remembering.

💜 One memory. One smile. One moment at a time.

There have been very few celebrities or artists whose passing has truly hit me and brought me to tears, but hearing today that Dolly is no longer here shining her light is absolutely heartbreaking. 💔

She had a beautiful heart and soul and much more that a country artist on the radio. No matter how famous she became, she never seemed to forget where she came from. She never lost that smile, that kindness, that humor, or that unmistakable Dolly spirit & laugh.
She gave the world her voice, but she also gave us her heart. She made people laugh, gave generously, loved deeply, and brought light wherever she went.
The world feels a little less bright today.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, and for showing the world that you can become larger than life without ever forgetting your roots.

You will forever be in our hearts, and we will always love you. 💗🦋
Rest peacefully, Dolly. 😢

💜 Two Tip Tuesday 💜

Good nutrition and proper hydration play a vital role in keeping seniors healthy—especially those living with dementia.

🍽️ Small portions and easy-to-eat finger foods can make mealtimes less overwhelming and encourage better eating.

💧 Staying hydrated and maintaining electrolytes can help reduce the risk of dehydration, UTIs, constipation, and increased confusion.

Small changes each day can make a big difference in your loved one's health and well-being. 💕

💜 Two Tip Tuesday 💜

When someone living with dementia begins refusing food, it's often not about being stubborn. There may be underlying reasons such as confusion, fear, discomfort, changes in taste, or simply feeling overwhelmed.

Keep mealtimes calm, offer small portions, and avoid turning eating into a battle. A gentle approach, patience, and understanding can make all the difference.

Remember, every bite counts—and so does every act of compassion. 💕
