We ended April on a high note as we enjoyed our first Scholarship Luncheon!

Guests heard heartfelt words from our scholarship recipients, while enjoying a wonderful lunch prepared by our own dietary department. While we shined a spotlight on our recipients, the real highlight was Lora Tschappatt and the scholarship that was created in her honor. Lora was a steady presence in our halls, and when we lost her, a group of her supporters wanted her name to carry on. The Lora Tschappatt Memorial Nursing Scholarship has since been awarded to numerous nursing students pursuing their healthcare careers. Many of those students are now helping our patients. What a legacy it is to honor and remember Lora. ❤️
