Did you know your placenta’s position can affect how clearly we see baby during a 3D/4D ultrasound? 👀🤰🏼

An anterior placenta sits along the front of the uterus, which can sometimes make those sweet facial features a little harder to capture. A posterior placenta sits along the back, often leaving fewer obstacles between baby and the ultrasound probe.

And fun fact: your placenta doesn’t actually “move” around! As your uterus grows and stretches, its position can appear to shift over time. ✨

Every baby, placenta and ultrasound is a little different, sometimes getting that perfect view just takes patience, positioning and a very cooperative baby. 😂🤍

Has anyone else been personally victimized by a baby who REFUSED to show their face at their 3D ultrasound? 😭😂

Drove all the way there, got comfy, brought the family… and baby said absolutely not. You gonna give mama some gas money?! 😂
