Amada Senior Care Amada Senior Care of Southern Maine provides tailored care and assistance with daily tasks for older adults.

It is the only home-care agency in Maine to receive an A+ rating from Home Care Standards Bureau. Maine ranks first in the nation with the highest proportion of residents 65-years-of-age and older. Many of Maine’s senior citizens want to live out the autumn years of their life safely and independently at home. Recognizing this trend, Amada Senior Care of Southern Maine opened in Portland to provide trained caregivers who assist clients with in-home tasks.

In light of Covid-19, the need to address safety concerns when working with older adults has increased. Since opening in September, Amada of Southern Maine has earned an A+ rating from Home Care Standards Bureau (www.homecarestandards.net). It is the only home health care organization in Maine to receive A+ certification, according to David Fraser, president of the Bureau. He added, “Every agency that receives this A+ certification meets the highest industry standards that places them among an elite
group of 200 other A+ agencies in the United States.’’

An added bonus of working with Amada of Southern Maine is the company’s team of advisors who assist clients in reviewing and filing a claim and accessing long-term care benefits.
