It's going to be hot this week! ☀️ Keep your hearing aids protected with this summer time tips!

☀️ Your hearing devices need sun protection too!

We all remember sunscreen for our skin, but prolonged exposure to UV rays, heat, and humidity can also affect hearing aids and cochlear implant processors. Over time, excessive heat and sun exposure may contribute to discoloration, moisture buildup, reduced battery performance, and unnecessary wear.

Keep your hearing technology performing its best this summer:
🕶️ Avoid leaving devices in direct sunlight or a hot car.
🧢 Wear a hat or seek shade when spending long periods outdoors.
💧 Wipe away sweat and moisture after being outside.
📦 Store devices in a cool, dry protective case when not in use.

A few simple habits can help extend the life of your hearing technology and keep you connected all season long.
