When Kentucky became the 15th state in 1792, it was the young country's first big step past the original colonies — the frontier that proved this new idea could grow. Today, that idea turns 250. Here in the gentle bluegrass and horse-farm country along the Ohio River, we're celebrating with the residents in our home, who carry generations of Kentucky stories with them. We'll raise a flag, share a few memories, and toast a quarter-millennium of America. Happy 250th. 🇺🇸
