✨ Mindy and Christa, owners of Lighthouse Therapy, had the wonderful opportunity to represent our team at the Texas Tech University Career Fair this week!

They loved connecting with the SLP, OTA and PTA students, sharing the story and mission behind Lighthouse Therapy, and discussing the unique opportunities available in private practice, corporate, and school-based settings. 🤍

We’re always excited to connect with future therapists and share our passion for helping children and families thrive!

A big thank-you to Texas Tech University for welcoming Lighthouse Therapy and giving us the opportunity to connect with the next generation of therapy professionals. We loved being there! ✨

We love utilizing a Wall Ball exercise to help build physical, fine-motor, and cognitive skills through playful movement.

This simple activity is doing so much more than it looks! Tracing a ball down a wall helps kids:
💪 Build shoulder and upper limb strength.
✋ Encourage wrist extension for better handwriting mechanics.
📏 Develop graded control, learning how much force to use.
🎯 Improve eye-hand coordination and visual tracking.
🧠 Boost focus and body awareness.
⚙️ Bilateral corrdination and motor planning.
🔀 Crossling midline and postural control.

💡Try it with different ball sizes or add a visual target for extra challenge!

Empower your child's future and give them the tools they need to succeed!

Consider this 🤏 perspective: you'll unlock endless possibilities and help your child reach their full potential.

💫 Imagine the confidence and self-assurance they'll develop as they grow and thrive, and know that you're playing a vital role in shaping their journey. 💪

Bubbles, silly voices, and awkward dance moves...whatever it takes to make speech therapy a blast 🫠🤣!

WHY? Because who says therapy can't be fun? Engaging, interactive play boosts treatment sessions and communication confidence.
