Certain lots of prednisolone acetate ophthalmic suspension eye drops have been recalled. This is a steroid drop that is prescription only.

If you have this medication, please double check the bottle’s lot number and dispose of the product if the lot number is on the FDA’s list of recalled products.

During the summer, it’s not uncommon to experience symptoms of dry eye, especially after turning the fans on high and blasting the air conditioning.

One of the most commonly misunderstood signs of dry eye is excessive tearing. Most people think watery eyes means it’s impossible for their eyes to be dry. In reality, the eyes are overcompensating for the dryness by watering more.
