And Just like that, ChiroHabit as we know it has become no more. I will still hold onto the name for a little while.
This has been an unexpected ending to my husband's dream. He was building a practice that would allow patients to receive affordable care with hours that accommodated the working man/woman. Dr. John rarely took off. Even on his days off, he was usually still at the office seeing someone for an emergency visit. We didn't live like kings, but we never needed to. God always provided.
His biggest passion was the Young Athlete program. So many local young athletes came in with injuries simply because they were being conditioned with exercises for sports they were not playing. He was in the process of renovating room 2 so that half of it could be a workout room where he could train these young athletes on proper technique and muscle conditioning for their sports.
He was a brilliant doctor who took the time to not only treat his patients but to educate them on all that was going on with their bodies. If you had an issue that stumped him, he would dive into hours of research on his own time after dinner. It was even in his MISSION STATEMENT:
To improve patients' lives through a holistic approach to health, wellness, and pain relief by providing excellence in chiropractic care, exercise, and education.
Dr. John will forever be in our hearts. As we leave ChiroHabit behind and close this chapter, I am truly thankful for all the love and support we have received during such a difficult time.
May God Bless those who selflessly help others in times of need. ❤️
