We are excited to offer our very first Childbirth Education Class at Coulee Medical Center, June 24th and 25th.

This free class is designed to help expecting parents feel informed, supported, and prepared for pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.

Led by Olivia Ponusky, Childbirth Educator, the class will cover topics like nutrition, exercise, stages of pregnancy and labor, comfort measures, interventions, feeding, newborn care, and more.

Support persons are encouraged to attend.

Registration is not required, but is highly encouraged to help us plan for seating and materials.

Meet Olivia Ponusky, Childbirth Educator

We're excited to introduce Olivia Ponusky, Coulee Medical Center's Childbirth Educator.

Born and raised in the Grand Coulee area, Olivia is passionate about supporting local families through one of life's most important journeys: pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood. With a background as an EMT, a degree in Midwifery Science, and several years of experience in pregnancy and birth education, she is dedicated to helping families feel confident, informed, and empowered.

What Olivia loves most about her role is seeing women and families gain confidence and knowing that education can make a lasting impact during such a vulnerable and meaningful season of life.

Olivia wants every family to know: "You can come to me with anything. I am an open book and here for you."

That’s a wrap on Employee Appreciation Week at CMC!

We ended the week with a BBQ lunch featuring hot dogs, chips, and cotton candy, followed by an employee free throw tournament full of laughs and competition.

After an exciting final round between Jeremiah and Brandon, Jeremiah came out on top as this year’s free throw winner, with Brandon taking second place.

Thank you to our incredible staff for everything you do. We loved celebrating you this week.

Employee Appreciation Week continues at Coulee Medical Center.

Today staff enjoyed pizza from local favorite Steve-O’s Pizza along with ice cream to help beat the heat.

Last night, we made rounds delivering Billups Subs and cookies to our incredible night shift CMC staff.

A huge thank you to all our amazing local businesses this week for helping us take care of the people who take care of our community.

We are grateful for every employee, every shift, and every person who helps keep CMC running 24/7.

Both clinics will reopen Tuesday, May 26.
