I get asked a lot why my weight-loss program is 6 weeks.
Why not one session? Why not just keep going until the weight comes off?
Because the goal isn’t simply to “make you lose weight.” The goal is to spend six weeks looking for the different things that may be interfering with normal weight regulation.
And those things aren’t going to be the same from one person to the next.
Each week we work through a different layer and then reassess. What showed up the first week may not be what needs attention the third or fifth week. The six-week structure gives us time to work through the process systematically instead of trying to cram everything into one session.
One of my favorite things about this program is what it doesn’t need.
There is no special diet that comes with it.
No calorie-counting program.
No required exercise routine.
No weight-loss medications.
No weight-loss supplements.
I’m also not going to hand you a list of foods and tell you that you can never eat bread again. 😁
That doesn’t mean nutrition and movement don’t matter—they absolutely do. It simply means this program is looking at a different question:
Is there something going on in the body that may be making weight regulation more difficult than it should be?
That’s what we spend those six weeks investigating.
