Using psychological science to improve performance. Do you want to perform at the top of your potential? Using cutting-edge psychological science, I help individuals, teams, and organizations achieve peak performance, foster athlete mental health, and apply sport psychology principles that translate both in and out of sport. My approach is practical, science-backed and tailored to the unique demands of competitive sport environments. I specialize in working with college student-athletes and also work with athletes at other competitive levels (high school teams, National and Olympic team members, professional athletes). I work with athletes in over 20 individual and team sports. I present nationally on topics related to mental health, performance psychology, professional well-being, and interprofessional collaboration to corporate, healthcare, and sport audiences. Because I take confidentiality very seriously, I do not disclose the athletes and teams with whom I work. I also do not post testimonials about my work with others, as I believe it is best to not give information that could identify my clients.

If you want to learn more about su***de prevention and postvention planning within athletic spaces, this is the course for you.

We first go through the VitalCog curriculum for Athletic Staff. This is focused on su***de risk and protective factors related to athletes, what those within athletic spaces can do, and practice critical su***de conversation skills.

We will also go through the VitalCog postvention module. Postvention is a critical, yet under discussed, part of su***de prevention that is often enacted after a mental health emergency.

We review components of a postvention plan and engage in reflective conversation to help you think through how your organization can establish or improve your own postvention plan.

Is your client with ADHD their own harshest critic?

Many adults with ADHD develop perfectionism as a response to years of struggling, and the combination leads to burnout, shame, and feeling stuck.

On June 26, 2026, licensed psychologist and certified ADHD specialist Dr. Kristin Hoff is teaching a live webinar on exactly this: How to use CBT and ACT with adult clients navigating ADHD and perfectionism.

You'll leave with real tools and a clearer picture of what's driving these patterns.

Everyone, MEET OLIVER who we adopted yesterday from !

He is sweet, happy, brave, playful, smart, curious, and an absolute velcro dog ๐Ÿฅฐ

We agreed to wait a bit after Fromm died to adopt #3 (Iโ€™m sure none of you thought weโ€™d make it this long ๐Ÿ˜‚). Weโ€™ve been looking for just the right pup. We saw this adorable boy and knew we needed to meet him. And weโ€™ve got some floof again!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅฐ

Heโ€™s absolutely everything his write up says he is, and his foster mom did an AMAZING job showing him that people and the world are safe. He already ADORES my husband, who is so great with him โค๏ธ

He also met Bella and Wilson today, and it went so well. Heโ€™s Wilsonโ€™s bud, and Bella is significantly less pi**ed than I thought sheโ€™d be! ๐Ÿฅน Once he settles in, I think sheโ€™ll like him more than Wilson! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿฅฐ

If anyone is looking for a puppy fix and wants to meet Oliver, let me know!
