We stopped teaching pulse checks because they’re unreliable under stress.

Also me after my third coffee: “I can hear colors.” ☕🚒

• A ‘DNR’ tattoo or medical bracelet alone doesn’t legally stop resuscitation in most situations — responders need official paperwork/orders.
• Most cardiac arrests happen at home or in public. Not in the hospital where most people are trained in CPR.
• The first few minutes matter, if the bystandard delays starting CPR-the person likely won't be themselves if they do wake up.
• You do not need to be a DNR if you're on hospice. Once the hospice patient dies, it's up to the family to honor the wish for CPR. Most families choose to let them die naturally.

Not all gyms go this extra mile — but HudSun Wellness Center and Tan does.

This facility is now equipped with an AED and staffed with CPR/First Aid certified team members, creating a safer environment for everyone who walks through their doors.

Having an AED isn’t a requirement for gyms, but it should be the standard. We’re proud to see businesses stepping up and prioritizing lives over minimum requirements.

This is what preparedness looks like. 👏

Professional? Yes. Appropriate sense of humor? Meh....funny though. Effective? Also yes.

If you can keep a beat, you can keep someone alive 🫀
100–120 BPM = push hard, push fast, don’t stop.
This isn’t just a vibe… it’s someone’s heartbeat.

Learn CPR. Be the reason someone gets a second chance.

Huge shoutout to Grace Baptist Church for taking a proactive step in keeping their community safe 🙌Truly setting the standard for what it looks like to care for your people beyond the pews.

These past 2 weekends weren't just about checking a box—it was about building confidence, learning lifesaving skills, and being ready when it matters most. From CPR and first aid to having an AED on-site, this group is truly prepared to respond in an emergency.

Emergencies don’t come with warnings, but preparation makes all the difference.

Proud to be part of a community that chooses readiness over hesitation ❤️

Someone in your life might need this someday.

Friend. Family. Stranger.

Know the signs:
Slow or no breathing.
Won’t wake up.

Call 911.
Give Narcan.

Be the reason they get another chance.

Not your grandma's CPR class. Hire me because learning lifesaving skills shouldn’t feel like watching paint dry.
