I scheduled an appointment with the goal of getting established with a chiropractor for routine care. During my first visit, I shared of what I believed to be an allergy to the cold that had developed. Essentially, even brief exposure to temperatures below 60 degrees would cause welts on my skin. After discussing with the doctor, he believed it was actually due to my sympathetic nervous system. Since being treated at that appointment, I haven’t had a single reaction to cold despite spending plenty of time outside in the cold, even skiing. It’s been several weeks and prior to my appointment, I was having reactions daily for the past 4 years, sometimes even prompted by air conditioning.

If you’re looking for someone who thinks holistically about how the different systems of the body all work together, this is the best place to go.
