It’s peach season in the Grand Valley 🍑 — which always gets us thinking about the recipes that made a house smell like home.
The cobbler nobody’s ever quite recreated. The Sunday rolls with no written recipe, because “you just add flour till it feels right.”

At 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗛𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, our garden is more than a beautiful space—it's something our residents get to enjoy every day. Fresh vegetables are making their way from the raised garden beds to the table, and today they were paired with a refreshing glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade made with love.

It's these simple, homegrown moments that make life at the BeeHive feel so much like home. Fresh air, fresh produce, great conversation, and the joy of sharing it all together. 💛

When the monsoons reach the Western Slope, Grand Junction gets a show: storm light on the Book Cliffs, rain curtains drifting over the Grand Mesa, and that sweet smell of rain in the high desert. Our residents love settling in by the windows to watch the summer storms roll through the valley.

Colorado became a state in 1876 — the nation's 100th birthday — which is how we earned the nickname the Centennial State. That means this summer, as America turns 250, Colorado turns 150. We get to celebrate both. Out on the Western Slope, where the Colorado and Gunnison rivers meet beneath the red mesas, we're marking the moment with the people in our home who've lived through so much of it. Happy 250th, America — and happy 150th, Colorado. 🇺🇸
