Thank you to Telluride Fire Protection District in Telluride, Colorado for their sponsorship to the 2019 EMS & Fire Conference January 18 & 19, 2019 in Grand Junction, Colorado. The District was established in 1966 covering 390 square miles of mountainous terrain which covers the town of Telluride, the Town of Mountain Village, Telluride Ski Resort and a number of outlying homes. However, volunteer firefighters have been servicing this community since 1878 when gold mining was in full swing!
